Zu besonderen Freudenstürmen besteht allerdings bei genauerer Betrachtung kein Anlass. Dafür muss man nicht einmal Machiavelli gelesen haben. Der hatte schon vor einem halben Jahrtausend bemerkt, dass es manchmal besser ist, gefürchtet zu sein, als geliebt zu werden.
